Widener senior Macharia Yuot and Willamette junior Sarah Zerzan lead an outstanding group of runners on the NCAA Division III All-America Cross Country Team, the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced this week.
Yuot and Zerzan won the men's and women's individual titles Saturday at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in West Chester, Ohio.
Calvin, the men's team champion, had six runners earn All-America honors. Middlebury, the women's team champion, placed three athletes on the women's All-America team.
The NCAA Division III All-America Cross Country Team consists of the top 35 finishers in the men's and women's races at the national championships.
