NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced today the 2007 Division III Women's All-Region Cross Country teams for the eight cross country regions. All-Region honors are given to an athlete who finishes in the top 35 at their respective regional meet. It no surprise that six of the eight regional champions placed seven members on All-Region teams led by top-ranked Amherst (New England). Calvin (Great Lakes), Emory (South/Southeast), SUNY Geneseo (Atlantic), Washington (Mo.) (Midwest) and Willamette (West) were the other five teams to have seven All-Region members. Williams (New England), Dickinson (Mideast) and Trinity (Texas) (South/Southeast) each had six members on All-Region teams.
