The Advanced Coaching Symposiums presented by TARTAN, a hugely popular event at the 2006 USTFCCCA convention, have been expanded for 2007 with the addition of a fourth event topic.
The Advanced Coaching Symposiums will once again be featured on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 PM and continuing Monday morning at 8:00 AM.
A dedicated eight hour symposium session will be conducted on each of the following event areas:
- Long Jump (conducted by Jim Van Hootegem, Texas A&M, and Jeremy Fischer, Oklahoma)
- Middle Distance Training (conducted by James Li, University of Arizona, and Al Schmidt, Mississippi State University)
- Sprint Training and Mechanics (conducted by Frans Bosch, The Netherlands)
- Shot Put (conducted by Dave Dumble, Arizona State , and Brett Halter, Missouri)
Technical Seminars presented by TARTAN will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00 AM through 9:30 AM.

- Transitioning from Cross Country to Indoor
- Weight Throw (conducted by Larry Judge)
